Overseas Placements

Maternity Nanny

£90 for each week or part week booked (3 months)

Other Childcare Requirements

Emergency Cover (48 hours notice)

£60 per week or part week worked + £30 registration fee

Temporary Placements/Short Term Cover/

School Holidays (up to 8 weeks)

£60 per week booked + £15 registration fee

Weekend Placements

£30 per weekend + £15 registration fee

Individual Days

£20 per day

The salary of a Nanny is dependent on many factors including their qualifications and experience, your location and whether they are employed as a daily or live-in nanny. We do recommend that if you require a Special Needs Nanny, then you may need to consider offering a higher salary. A nanny’s salary is nearly always quoted as the NET amount instead of the gross total, although we do recommend that when offering a position of employment that you do agree a gross annual salary with your nanny.

Maternity Nannies are self-employed and are therefore responsible for their own Tax and National Insurance. They will have their own contract of employment, conditions and rates of pay. Typically a Maternity Nanny will request 1 weeks salary as a deposit and prefer to commit to a firm commencement date.
